Our story began with shared interests that took us on different paths, yet, always led us back to the same core values.

Spending our twenties in the hospitality industry, Marcus worked behind the scenes in the kitchen while Cassey served guests at the front. Together, we climbed the ranks from local restaurants to five-star hotels, where we refined our service standards. Always with one goal in mind: to make every guest feel like they were at home.

As we moved into healthcare, Cassey through psychotherapy and Marcus through massage therapy, we deepened our understanding of what it means to create a feeling of safety and welcome. We learned to read the unspoken needs of people, offering them a space where they could truly relax, even when they didn’t know how to ask for it.

The ultimate revelation came when we got our dog, Jinks. Our bullmastiff. Jinks was our “aha” moment. Showing us that everything we had learned, all the skills and experience we had gathered, was centred around the heart. And honestly, what has more heart than a dog?

With Jinks by our side, everything fell into place. We decided to take all that we’d learned in hospitality, healthcare, and life, and apply it to caring for dogs. And, so, Yellow Bone Dog Services was born. Now, we’re able to offer the same warmth, care, and attention we’ve always given our guests, only this time for our four-legged furry friends.

As a family, we understand how important it is to feel at ease and to trust that your loved ones, whether human or furry, are being cared for with the same attention and affection given at home.
